The Education Committee of the Sacramento Audubon Society is offering an inter-generational, multi-sensory, hands-on workshop for children ages 6-16.This workshop will explore birds in the Sacramento area, with special emphasis on bird biology and behavior, optics, area Hot Spots and keeping your own bird list! Bird Watching is America's fastest growing sport and this workshop will have something for everyone, experienced or not. Childrenmust beaccompanied by a parent, a grandparent, or other special adult.
Instructor Sheila Green is a volunteer with the Sacramento Audubon Society and Camp Fire Boys and Girls and has seven years of experience in teaching the love of birds and nature to kids and adults.Children ages 6-16 must be accompanied by an adult.
