Register for September’s Virtual Monthly Speaker Presentation

Sacramento Audubon Society is excited to announce that the September Monthly Speaker Presentation will be live online using Webex.  On September 17, 2020 at 7:00 pm, Vayun Tiwari will share experiences of birding in Ecuador. Including highlights such as the Jocotoco Antpitta, whose discovery started a new habitat conservation effort in Ecuador, and Blue-throated Hillstar, a striking hummingbird discovered only in 2018 on a high Andean ridge! The talk will also cover some time spent around Mindo, in the cloud forests west of Quito, photographing iconic species such as Toucan Barbet, Plate-billed Mountain Toucan and an array of colorful hummingbirds and tanagers.  To read more about this exciting presentation, check out our Upcoming Speakers.
