The Field Activities Committee of the Sacramento Audubon Society (SAS) is moving towards leading field trips in the next several months. As this must be done under safe conditions for leaders and participants alike, it will also be necessary to limit the number of participants to a manageable number.

 Volunteers are currently exploring a registration system and its implementation and how it might work for SAS. When this is resolved, field trips will be scheduled again. This information will be posted in The Observer and on the SAS website and Facebook page.

 However, once again, Christmas Bird Counts will not be conducted as in previous years. Hopefully, 2022 will welcome a return of these CBCs.
