American River Parkway Foundation’s Spring Clean-Up
9 a.m. to noon on April 15, 2023
Tell your friends and assemble your coworkers. Whatever site you choose to attend, you will be working with like-minded individuals with a common goal of cleaning the Parkway.
There are 8 sites to choose from, some for all ages and some limited to volunteers over 18 where we will focus on cleaning up abandoned encampments. Click on the location below that you are interested to help at.

This Spring Clean-Up is ARPF’s second-largest annual clean-up and helps remove more than 10,000 pounds of trash from the Parkway. This is an opportunity for the entire family to make an impact on the community together and a great way to earn community service hours.
ARPF provides trash bags, gloves, water, and a light snack.
What to wear: sturdy/comfortable closed-toe shoes, hat, long pants, long-sleeves, gloves, sunscreen, & bug spray.
What to bring: Water! Take breaks & learn the signs of heat exhaustion.
ARPF’s Spring Clean-Up is weather and water level dependent and will only be held if conditions are safe for volunteers. If the event is cancelled, those that have registered will be notified at least 24 hours in advance.
