Join this culturally relevant bird watching experience at a nature preserve in Sacramento County. This beginner level walk, will introduce you to the natural wonders of the Sacramento region birds and their habitats. Learn to identify birds, and the importance of protecting their habitat.

In addition, practice your observation, attention, and curiosity skills. Nourish your creativity whilst learning the basics of nature journaling to start your exploration of the world. A nature journal is the place where you record your observations, ideas, questions, and experiences of the natural world, using pictures, words, and numbers. Journaling supplies will be provided during the program.
