Effie Yeaw Speaker Series: Identifying California Raptors with Ed Pandolfino

The Central Valley of California is a winter paradise for raptors, hosting the greatest diversity and abundance of winter raptors in North America.

Fifteen different species of hawks, eagles, and falcons are regularly found in the winter and one can see all 15 without leaving Sacramento County. Ed will provide tips on how to find and identify these raptors. This talk well be helpful both for beginning and intermediate birders.
