Cosumnes River Preserve is a wonderful venue for those with mobility challenges. Within a few hundred feet of the main parking lot there is a wooden easily accessible viewing platform. The flooded fields attract a wide range of dabbling ducks. Greater White-fronted Geese, Sandhill Cranes, dowitchers, Wilson’s Snipe, and yellowlegs should be present. There are always some passerines and raptors.

Specific meeting place and directions will be provided at the time of registration.
