This beautiful area is a great place for families to enjoy nature. Cliff knows it well and will seek out resident, migrating and early-wintering species that might be present.

Meeting Location: Meet Cliff at the Earl J. Koobs Nature Area, 5325 Engle Road, Carmichael. 

Directions: From Fair Oaks Blvd. and Manzanita Ave, continue south on Fair Oaks Blvd.  Turn right on Engle Rd. After about ½ mile turn right at La Sierra Community Center. Drive several hundred feet.  The entrance will be on your right. 

COVID 19 Precautions: All participants, including children 5 and up and field trip leaders, must be vaccinated.
