As winter continues its grasp on the Central Valley, we will take a leisurely walk along the riparian parkland and wetland areas of this wonderful county park. We should get good looks at the local wintering birds and run into a few early migrants making their way north. Expect easy walking with frequent stops to scan the creek, riparian habitat, and surrounding grasslands to see what interesting birds we can find. Gibson Ranch County Park requires a Sacramento County Parks Pass or a day use fee for entrance. (The day use fee is currently $7. Fees have increased as of January 1, 2024.)

Meeting Location: Directions and confirmation of exact meeting location and time will be provided to registrants.
