♿Field Trip: Sierra Discovery Trail, Emigrant Gap

This field trip is FULL.
Registration is closed for this trip.

Field Trip Leader: Paul Miller and Maureen Geiger

This interpretive trail near Nevada City is just under a one mile loop, is easy walking and considered wheelchair and mobility accessible. A great way to experience the western Sierra conifer forest at an elevation of 5,200, we will explore birds on a well-maintained, shady trail along the Bear River, see a waterfall and possibly an American Dipper in action. Expect about 2 hours on the trail.

Meeting Location: You can meet Paul at 7:30 at the meeting location. Or meet him at the trail head at 9:00. Directions and confirmation of exact meeting location and time will be provided to registrants.

Field Trip Registration: Registration is closed for this field trip. This field trip is limited to 6 participants. Directions and confirmation of exact meeting location and time will be provided to registrants.

COVID 19 Precautions: All participants, including field trip leaders, must be vaccinated.
