Morgan Oaks Eternal Preserve is a green burial cemetery in the rolling foothills of Placer County. With just over 160 acres, trails meander through grasslands and old oaks and are surrounded by farms and views of the Sierra. This is a new field trip location for Sacramento Audubon. Join us as we discover what this new location has to offer. The trail is mostly flat and dirt, with a few inclines. Bathrooms are present on site. There is not much shade, so bring hats, sunscreen, water and snacks as needed. Heavy rain cancels.  

Meeting Location: Meet Susan and Mary at Morgan Oaks Eternal Preserve, 421 Fleming Rd, Lincoln, CA 95648.

Directions: From Sacramento, take HW80 East, then CA 65 North (Exit 106). Continue on CA 65 for about 14.5 miles. Turn right onto West Wise Rd. After 4 miles, turn left on Gladding. After 2.7 miles, turn right onto Flemming Rd. Morgan Oaks is .5 miles ahead on the right.
