With migration in progress, this is a good time to check for shorebirds and waterfowl as well as the ever present raptors at the North Pond at Woodland Wastewater Treatment Plant in Woodland. Meet Maureen at 7:30 for a couple hours’ birding. Bring a scope if you have one. 

Meeting Location: North Pond at the Woodland Wastewater Treatment Plant 

Directions: Take I-5 from Sacramento past the Airport and towards Woodland. Take Exit #536 and turn left or south on Road 102 and continue until you see the light at Road 24 to the left and Gibson Road to the right. Turn left or east on Rd 24 and you will see the North Pond which is where we will meet.
