Meet at the silos on Staten Island Road across from the entrance billboard for an evening fly in of Sandhill Cranes, Aleutian geese, shorebirds, and other waterfowl. We’ll also talk about what makes Staten Island the unique bird habitat that it is. Individuals will be using their cars to move from one birding stop to the next. Spotting scopes are not critical but advised. I will bring one to two to share. Mosquito repellent is also advised.

Meeting Location: Meet Bill at the Silos at M&T Staten Ranch, 24734 N. Staten Island Road.

Directions: From I-5 Exit Walnut Grove Road. Head west on Walnut Grove Road. Turn Left on Staten Island Road. Destination will be on the right.

COVID 19 Precautions: All participants, including field trip leaders, must be vaccinated.
