Join Richard in exploring the rich habitat of Teal Bend Golf Course. There are a variety of habitats, including wooded and riparian areas, supporting variety of wintering and resident birds. Expect easy walking around the golf course. Bring water and snacks.

Meeting Location: Meet at the parking lot at Teal Bend Golf Course. The address is 7200 Garden Highway, Sacramento 95837. 

Directions: From Sacramento, take Highway 5 north, then when it splits into Highway 5 and Highway 99, take Highway 99 north. Take Exit 309 at Elverta Road and turn left (west). Drive about three miles, then turn left onto Garden Highway. After about a mile, turn left into the golf course.

COVID 19 Precautions: All participants, including field trip leaders, must be vaccinated.
