Field Trip Leader: Dan Williams

This morning trip to a property in southern Sacramento County provides an opportunity to bird a private ranch before its restoration to wetlands. We will primarily walk the narrow riparian corridor along Snodgrass Slough, which concentrates the bird activity for close views of spring migrants. We will also check out the adjacent farm fields and slough for other bird life. Depending on the conditions on the site, we may need to shuttle trip participants from the main road to where we'll be walking.
