As fall migration starts winding down, we will take a leisurely walk along the riparian parkland and wetland areas of this wonderful county park. We should get good looks at the local wintering birds and run into a few late migrants making their way south. Expect easy walking with frequent stops to scan the creek, riparian habitat, and surrounding grasslands to see what interesting birds we can find. A Sacramento County Parks Pass or $6 day use fee is required.

Meeting Location: Meet Kevin at the entrance kiosk and we will caravan to the parking area. 

Directions: From Elverta, head east on Elverta Road (3.1 miles), turn left onto Gibson Ranch Park Rd (0.7 miles), turn right (0.2 miles), turn right on to Gibson Ranch/Dry Creek Trail (150 feet), turn left.

COVID 19 Precautions: All participants, including field trip leaders, must be vaccinated.
