♿ Mindful Birding Trip - Cosumnes River Preserve

Registration is required for this trip and will be limited to 6 participants. Please email Paul to register.

Field Trip Leader: Paul Miller

Cosumnes River Preserve is a wonderful venue for those with disability challenges. Within a few hundred feet of the main parking lot, there is a wooden easily accessible viewing platform. The flooded fields attract a wide range of dabbling ducks. Greater White-fronted Geese, Sandhill Cranes, Dowitchers, Wilson’s Snipe, and yellowlegs should be present. There are always some passerines and raptors.

Field Trip Registration: Registration is required for this trip and will be limited to 6 participants. Please email Paul to register. Directions and confirmation of exact meeting location and time will be provided upon registration.
