Avery’s Pond, located near the northwest shore of Folsom Lake, is a new location for Sacramento Audubon, but not for Ben. Yellow-breasted Chats, Bullock’s Orioles, and a wide variety of resident birds and late migrants are often found here.

This trip will include around 3 miles of hiking on varied terrain. Bring liquids and snacks and dress for warm weather. Please note that there is a parking fee.
