SAS Field Trip: Birding by Boat on Lake Natoma - Family Friendly Trip

Registration is required for this trip and will be limited to 15 participants. Please email Nicole to register.

Field Trip Leader: Nicole Barden

Bring your kayak, canoe, or SUP and a pair of binoculars (or borrow ours by request) and let's see which birds call Lake Natoma their home! We will meet at the boat launch before heading out on the water to explore the edges of the lake looking for birds. Whether you’re a beginning birder or an expert, get out on the water in your own boat or borrow one from us (first come, first serve!). Be sure to also bring water, sun protection, a towel, and items you don’t mind getting wet (dry bag recommended).

All ages and birding levels are welcome. Participants MUST wear a life jacket and be comfortable and confident paddling in a canoe or kayak. Please no dogs.

Directions and confirmation of exact meeting location and time will be provided upon registration.
