Field Trip Leaders: Phyllis Wilburn and Maureen Geiger

Phyllis and Maureen will visit a variety of sites along Ice House Road and side roads looking for Lazuli Bunting, Green-tailed Towhee, Mountain Bluebird, warblers and vireos, and other birds of the area. They hope to see the beautiful Calliope Hummingbird again. Large numbers of wildflowers may also be in bloom. Bring lunch, liquids, and footwear suitable for hiking. This will include about a 1-mile walk on uneven ground with some ups and downs. Both beginners and experienced birders are welcome. There are no restroom facilities until we reach the Ice House store near noon. Registration is required as there is a 6-car maximum due to short pullouts. Trip will end early to mid-afternoon.
