Field Trip Leader: Kevin Thomas

All are welcome on this all levels birding walk at Gibson Ranch. We will explore the area to learn and share as a community. As winter continues its grasp on the Central Valley, we will take a leisurely walk along the riparian parkland and wetland areas of this wonderful county park. We should get good looks at the local wintering birds and run into a few early migrants making their way north. Expect easy walking with frequent stops to scan the creek, riparian habitat, and surrounding grasslands to see what interesting birds we can find. Gibson Ranch County Park requires a Sacramento County Parks Pass or a $7 day use fee for entrance.
