SAS Field Trip: Yolo Bypass Wildlife Area

Registration is required for this trip and it will be limited to 20 participants. Please email Rachael to register.

Field Trip Leader: Rachael Cowan

This wildlife area is in the heart of the Pacific Flyway, where you will find waterfowl, shorebirds and wading birds, neotropical migratory birds, raptors, and various other wildlife. This is a great area to escape urban life and experience wildlife up-close in nature. This field trip will be a drive through the wildlife area with stops to get out for better looks. FRS radios and scopes are helpful on this trip. This area is prone to flooding and can be very muddy.

Directions and confirmation of exact meeting location and time will be provided upon registration.
