Field Trip Leader: Molly Shea

Starting at the Nimbus Fish Hatchery, we’ll be walking along the trail next to the American River. We should get good looks at the local resident birds. Expect easy walking with frequent stops to scan the river, riparian habitat, and surrounding bluffs. Participants should wear comfortable shoes.

Meeting Location: Meet in the hatchery parking lot.

Directions: From Hwy 50 go north on Hazel Avenue; turn left on Gold Country Blvd. Make an immediate right on Nimbus Road and follow the signs to the hatchery.
