This is a Young Birders Club field trip. Participation is limited to members of the Sacramento Valley Young Birders Club. Registration is through the young birders club Slack. Please go to www.sacramentoaudubon.org/young-birders-club to become a member.

We will explore the natural wetlands and iconic oak woodlands of this popular birding hotspot. Notable birds we could see: Sandhill Cranes, Virginia Rail, Sora, almost any California duck species, Northern Harrier, Wilson’s Snipe, Long-billed Dowitcher, Nuttall’s Woodpecker, Least Sandpiper, Say’s Phoebe, Spotted Towhee, Belted Kingfisher. There will be bathrooms available at the parking lot. Packing a lunch is recommended. The exact meeting location will be provided upon registration.
