Field Trip Leader: Ed Harper

The Effie Yeaw Nature Area consists of a number of easy trails for walking and offers extended access to the American River. It can produce a nice list of birds with abundant resident birds being augmented by many wintering species.  Signs of Spring will greet us, and birds will respond in kind with song and heightened activity. This trip is leisurely paced taking time for prolonged looks at birds and will dwell on songs, calls, specific behaviors, and natural history.

• All participants must register in advance to attend this field trip. Registration for this field trip will be limited to 8 participants.

• All participants, including field trip leaders, must provide proof of COVID vaccination.
