This trip will focus on improving field observations, descriptions of bird appearance and behavior, and an introduction to field sketching. We will focus our attention on watching and closely observing birds in one or two locations and spending time working on field journaling about what we see.

Please bring writing materials. You can bring a notebook and pencil, a phone, a tablet, or any other way to record the birds. You will want to dress warmly and be prepared to be stationary while we make observations.

Meeting location, directions and other details will be provided upon registration.
