Join Bill at Camp Pollock, the Sacramento Valley Conservancy property on the American River just east of downtown Sacramento. Some of you will know this as the old Boy Scout Camp which it was for many years. Bill will survey the property which is composed of wide grassy areas interspersed with huge old cottonwoods, oaks, a large native plant nursery and a variety of shrubbery. This property has not been well birded, at least that he knows of, and Bill would like to get a start on changing that. Restrooms are not available.

Meeting Location: Meet Bill at the Camp Pollock parking lot. 1501 Northgate Blvd, Sacramento, CA 95815

Directions: Going North on  I-5 from downtown, take the Garden Highway Exit. Go east on Garden Hwy. Turn right on Northgate Blvd. Proceed for a short distance and turn right into Camp Pollock.
