Gardening Grants available through the Sacramento Perennial Plant Club

Since 2015, the Saul Wiseman Grants from the Sacramento Perennial Plant Club have aided schools and nonprofit and community groups that serve Sacramento County’s diverse population through gardening and horticultural activities.

Many of the recipients are talented educators dedicated to making all manner of gardening experiences available in schools and public places. Others lead community gardens or create environmentally-friendly places of beauty in our neighborhoods. Funds have purchased many things, including educational materials, plants and seeds, garden tools, and irrigation supplies.

Whatever your community gardening endeavor might be, we encourage you to apply for a Saul Wiseman Grant for the coming year.

Applications are due January 12, 2024. To apply or more information visit sacplants.org/grants.
