Yolo Bypass Open to Birders Once Again

To quote the Yolo Basin Foundation:

HOORAY!

The Yolo Bypass Wildlife Area has re-opened to the public! Thanks to the hard work of California Department of Fish and Wildlife, the road damage has been repaired and it is now safe to visit our local wetlands.

It seems as if the Yolo Bypass has been closed due to flooding or damage caused by flooding for most of the winter and spring. They are reopen, and while the birding may not be quite as good as in the cooler months, it can still be a fabulous place to visit as it gets warmer.
